Remotely connect to a server using disk management to check disk properties Step 1: login into a server using remote desktop program (RDP) [ex: win1.web-manual.net] Then Goto start->run-> type “compmgmt.msc”. you will get a window which will be similar to below. Enter the command and hit enter Step 2: Click on the action and select ‘connect to another computer’. you will be prompted with a new window to type the server name. Step 3: Type the server name. Here it would be win1.web-manual.net Step 4: Expand storage by clicking on the plus (+) sign -> select Disk management. you will be able to get the disk details towards your right side. here we can see C, D drive are available....
